Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Puja Center. By registering for an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Puja Center is

Puja Center is a tool for Pandits/Pujaris to generate, customize, and share puja samagri (ritual item) lists with the Yajmans (families/clients) they serve, via a temporary, shareable web link. It is a utility for list management — it is not a booking platform, marketplace, or payment processor.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your profile up to date.
• You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• Accounts are intended for individual Pandits/Pujaris registering in a professional capacity.

3. AI-generated content

Samagri lists may be generated with the help of an AI model (Google Gemini) and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuited to a specific regional or family tradition. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated or library list before saving or sharing it. Puja Center does not guarantee the completeness or correctness of any samagri list, and is not liable for any inconvenience, cost, or ritual issue arising from a missing or incorrect item.

4. Shared links

• Links you generate to share a samagri list are temporary and expire automatically (5–7 days after creation).
• Anyone with a valid link can view the list and your associated branding information (see our Privacy Policy §5) — do not share a link anywhere you wouldn't want that information seen.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of the branding information (name, contact, address, dakshina details) attached to your account.

5. Dakshina / UPI details

If you choose to add UPI or dakshina payment details to your profile, Puja Center displays them on your shared pages so a Yajman can pay you directly through their own UPI app. Puja Center never collects, holds, splits, or forwards any payment — all payments happen directly between you and the Yajman, entirely outside the platform. We are not a party to, and bear no responsibility for, any payment made or dakshina exchanged.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, credentials, or affiliations.
• Submit content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes on others' rights.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, abuse the AI generation feature, or interfere with the service's normal operation.
• Use a shared link's contact information for unsolicited commercial purposes unrelated to the puja it was shared for.

7. Shared content library

To keep the service fast and cost-effective, the first AI-generated list for a given puja may be stored and reused as a shared starting point for other Pandits who search for the same or a very similar puja. Your own customized/edited list remains your private copy and is not shared with other Pandits.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time (see our Privacy Policy §8–9). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the service (for example, excessive automated AI requests).

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Puja Center is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular ritual or purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Puja Center and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including from an incomplete or inaccurate samagri list, an expired share link, or a payment made outside the platform.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Continued use of Puja Center after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
